Use keyword AND to refine your searches.
Example: « Rock AND Guitar » will search all tracks that have Rock and Guitar in the description.
Use an * (asterisk) as a wildcard character.
Example: A search for « patriot* » will search any word that begins with « patriot », such as patriotic and patriotism.
Use keyword OR to refine your searches.
Example: « Jazz OR Blues » will search all tracks that have either Jazz or Blues in the description.
Use keyword NOT to refine your searches.
Example: « Rock NOT Guitar » will search all Rock tracks that do not have Guitar.
Q. How do I change my password?
A. Click on the Profile link in the top right corner. Here you will be able to update your password and other personal contact information.
Q. How do I change the number of search results that appear to me?
A. Click on the Profile link in the top right corner. Under the « Search Preferences » section you can set the number of Results Per Page.
Q. How can I see only the tracks that I am licensed to download?
A. Click on the Profile link in the top right corner. Under the « Search Preferences » section make sure that the Downloadable Tracks checkbox is selected.
Q. How do I create a Playlist?
A. Click on the orange + icon in the Project panel. Now you can drag-and-drop tracks into your playlist, or simply click your playlist to select it, then click on the orange + icon next to the track you want to add to your Playlist.
Q. How do I share a Playlist with someone?
A. There are a few different ways to share a playlist. To share a playlist with anyone, simply move your mouse over your Playlist and click on the gear icon that appears on the right side of your Playlist name. Choose Create OnePage to open the Playlist within its own webpage. This webpage will have a unique URL that you can share via email or instant messaging, or you can click the Email button to share directly from the page itself.
You can also send a Playlist to another registered user of the WCPM Search Site by clicking on the gear icon and choosing Send Item. Enter the email address of the WCPM user and the Playlist will be sent to their Inbox (found in the Special section of the Project panel).
Q. How do I create a CueSheet on the search site?
A. It’s easy! Simply click on the orange « CUE » icon in the Project panel. Now you can drag-and-drop tracks, as well as Playlists, onto your CueSheet. Click the cog icon next to your CueSheet to view it. All Cuesheets already have the important Composer and Publisher information filled out. Simply fill in the details for your project and usage and you can export as text, PDF or send as an email.
Q. How do I create a Folder Group for better organization of Playlists and CueSheets?
A. We know how important it is to stay properly organized! Click on the orange folder icon in the Project panel to great a new folder. Now you can drag-and-drop Playlists and CueSheets into this folder to organize by project, category, style, etc.
