Dirty Gritty Revival

Groove Addicts is dirtier and grittier than ever. “Dirty Gritty Revival” is the follow up to the popular “Dirty, Gritty, Rocky Tasty” disc from 2013. This disc is, for the lack of a better phrase, bad to the bone. It’s got heavy, 60’s riffage mixed with some serious beats and psychedelic organs thrown in for good measure.

The grit really begins with composer, Ehren Ebbage. Not only is Ehren an accomplished composer, but he also was signed to Epic Records. He left his band to pursue songwriting and ultimately found that his writing, engineering and producing interests made him well-suited to the world of composing for media. Need more proof? Ehren has received a BMI award for his contribution to the long-running CBS show, Undercover Boss, and his work can be heard on dozens of shows on every major television network.

Forget marking your calendars, this disc is live now! Listen to the montage, or listen to the full disc here. If you dig what you’re hearing then email your Director of Licensing or call 1.888.615.8729. Make sure you ask how you can license a track! Enjoy!

DIRTY GRITTY REVIVAL MONTAGE

Scott Reinwand, Producer, said, “Ehren was the perfect choice for this release. He has a way of creating incredible guitar tones that ooze vibe. Nothing ever feels out of place or awkward.” Ehren agrees by saying, “60’s rock is all about the character and energy of the songs performances. Rock was brand new then, and to this day few modern records can match the excitement and creativity captured in those early recordings. As a guitarist, I’ve always loved the gritty, fuzzy, grungy sounds and it was fun to draw inspiration from those great records.” Scott also gives a shout out to engineer, Brad Bivens. Brad has mixed albums for artists like Kings of Leon, Dawes, Ingrid Michaelson, Norah Jones and Melissa Ehteridge among others.
